al-Zarqawi is perhaps the most disgusting human being in this world:

He is the man who beheaded Nick Berg. I really hope he is dead because when someone is so far gone they can behead another person, and in such a brutal way, no guillotine, just hacked away with a sword, they will never recover from that. I don't particularly like this strategy of tracking down and killing al-Qaeda with bombs, it is unnecessarily messy. It can kill other people who did nothing wrong. The only reason I don't like it is that Israel has been doing the same thing, and while it may get a person with a particular skill, it cannot stop terror on a greater level, and I dare say the killing of innocent civilians incites more violence and creates more terrorists. We can't change the nature of this attack, but I will be glad this horrible man is no longer walking the Earth.

3. I know...
I don't it think will end the insurgency, but it is one more bad guy not walking around. Hopefully, there were no civilian deaths in this so it won't breed more terrorists. Killing a few bad guys here and there will not end this war, it just gives our people a slightly higher moral for a few weeks or days.

6. Now he is a martyr
He will do more harm than before because this is an asymmetrical war, where leaders are exalted, martyred, then immediately replaced.

7. I'll agree, I'm glad he's dead. Good riddance. However -
not sure I'd call him the most disgusting human being in this world. I can think of another who is responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent Iraqis (and our troops) and then has the nerve to say "God Bless the Iraqi people". He hasn't brutally beheaded anyone and what he's done isn't overtly savage, but it's just as horrible.

8. My guess is he was already dead
They pulled this out to get our minds off of something that is coming down the pike. I think something is about to happen. It's just a feeling I am getting.
