7. How long until the Sedition Act is reintroduced?
Edited on Tue Jun-06-06 09:07 PM by TechBear_Seattle
For those who don't remember their American history (or went to a neo-con school and never learned it), the Sedition Act was signed in to law on July 14, 1798, by President John Adams. It made it a federal crime to write, print, utter, or publish anything critical of the president or Congress (noteably, it did not make it a crime to defame the Vice-President. Until ratification of the 12th Amendment in 1804, the Vice-Presidency went to the runner-up in the race for President, and was usually the President's chief political rival. In 1798, Thomas Jefferson was Vice-President.)

The Sedition Act was not challenged on constitutional grounds, as it would not be until Marbury v. Madison in 1803 that the Supreme Court power to arbitrate constitutionality was affirmed; the Act was written to expire on its own in 1801, after the 1800 elections.

10. more photos and details
I read about this on dc indymedia. Apparently they also had a tug-o-war between good and evil as well as an exorcism as the date was 6-6-06.

See photos and read report here:
