In the middle of the interview, Ann takes off the long blond wig and reveals "she" is actually Arnie Coulter, a gay, liberal performance artist.

"What is wrong with you people!" Arnie says. "Every book I wrote was more self-parodying than the last and you STILL took me seriously and gave me air time! I would have kept up the charade, but, frankly I ran out of ideas."
