28. No doubt. Fucking endtimers.
With the 24/7 hype about it on the news I don't think I've even heard anyone mention DDay lately. Fucking obscene. Sorry I do believe in God but not the lunatic dogma christianity has come up with.

61. My grandfather was there.
He just chose to never speak of it. He passed away about 18 months ago.

I didn't even know he was there until the 50th anniversary rolled around and he began to receive calls from reporters, asking him what he remembered. He didn't speak much, even 50 years later.

After watching him I quickly learned how to spot the real soldiers who had served in a situation. Most don't speak of it at all or say very little. The ones who brag usually never left the states, if they even served.

and same non affiliation

I don't mind at all when the concept of not cluttering someone else's mind with your own brand of dogma is pushed, but whacking a believer for faith or study is just as bad to me as the believers insisting all follow their path.

Bigotry comes in many, many forms I guess.

26. Okay... I thought I was just goofy or something...
It struck me weird and I didn't like it. Maybe it's because I'm married to a witch. Or maybe it's because I've studied several religions in my lifetime, and it's through this study that I've figured out that none of them are for me.

Whatever it is... I'm glad I'm not alone.

I find most pagans VERY knowledgable about religion--all religions, from Buddhism to Christianity. They say that the knowledge about Christianity is learned in self-defense.

51. I'm Not A Fan Of Organized Religion Either.
I have my own relationship with the spiritual realm that is mine alone and of which I value greatly. But my offense isn't due to defense of established religion, per se, it is at the lack of respect for those that have made their own personal decisions as to what they value in terms of religion. I don't find it respectful to ever bash others spiritual beliefs for sake of a feeling of spiritual superiority.

The reason you may find fault with it as well, is because if your personally held spiritual or religious views had a symbol you know that symbol could easily be in the picture as well. It isn't which symbols are in there, it is the concept of telling others that if you don't spiritually believe the same then what you believe is garbage.

And that concept bothers most of us. Or at least that's my take on it. :)
