Dear friends,

When we last wrote to you in January of this year, the funding was intended to cover February, March and April. We're happy to say that we were able to make the funds stretch to cover an additional month, however, now is the time to again appeal to you for help.

We fund White Rose by donations for one very important reason; the voices we archive here need to be heard by a wider audience, and that cannot be accomplished with a subscriptions-based site.

Also, a site with subscription fees would freeze out students, seniors, the disabled and anybody else with fixed or marginal incomes.

So, if you find this service valuable, and want to see it continue and grow in the future, please help out now!

Thank you all so very much for all of your help in the past, and for your help now in this current funding drive.

As for the photo-board money, for once in your life, you could be right. I was thinking that 90,000 DU invitees, plus each bringing a guest, at $2.00 per photo would put $460,000 into Tom's defense fund. But that probably will only be a drop in the bucket towards his legal fees, when all is said and done.

Regarding the spelling of 'liar'. Here's what you do. Go downstairs and find the youngest staff member with the SMALLEST desk. Say, "I want a dictionary." (dik-shun-ayree). When the staffer comes back with a big fat book, say, "Look up L-I-A-R and read me what it says." You will find it interesting.
