I told them it would make for a stronger talking point if when Kennedy is interviewed, it could be a talking point that "Rolling Stone believes this issue is so important they have sent a copy of the magazine to every senator and congressperson."

I have no doubt they timed it specifically to downplay any coverage of the election fraud.

They did it throughout the 2004 campaign - every time Kerry drew blood on them, a terror alert would pop up and control the news cycle.

Of course they knew RS was doing this article - every journalist asks for the other side to make a statement. They knew and decided to use their old standby, gay marriage.

No matter how much (more) corporate media attention RFK's article gets - it is a MAJOR step up to get it in RS.

43. Federal elections are by paper ballot

Quebec municipal elections recently tried machines and had numerous problems. Some provinces might be using alternative methods. I know in B.C. it was the paper ballot, using the old tried and true method, paper ballot, pencil and people to count them.

There is no question there is a BIG push coming from the corporations trying to sell their product in Canada, seems to me now is a really good time to attempt to educate our MPs and MLA members about the downside of using electronic voting.
