Why I fight.
"Those who profess to favor freedom, yet deprecate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightening. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will."

– Frederick Douglass

Sending this out to my freeper relatives from now on when they spam me with RW bullshit emails or give me shit about protesting, etc.

1. They truly still are entrenched Stella?
Not a seed of doubt?

They must be extremely rich and don't have
anything to worry about.

that we are. This 4th ammendment shit has them going crazy.
In some ways we are allies. Weird, huh.

4. Send them this, too.

MOURN NOT THE DEAD

Mourn not the dead that in the cool earth lie-
Dust unto dust-
The calm, sweet earth that mothers all who die
As all men must;

Mourn not your captive comrades who must dwell-
Too strong to strive-
Each in his steel-bound coffin of a cell,
Buried alive;

But rather mourn the apathetic throng-
The cowed and the meek-
Who see the world's great anguish and its wrong
And dare not speak!

Ralph Chaplin - Advocate of a labor state, leader in the I.W.W. (International Workers of the World), CHAPLIN was imprisoned for his anti-war stand in World War 1. This poem was written in prison.
