1. Right this minute...besides the ungodly heatwave in my state...
I feel like everyone is so "scandal tolerant" (I'm talking in the corporate media etc., not DU), that not one of these assholes will ever be held accountable...Maybe tolerant isn't the right word, perhaps "scandal burnout" is better. The Corporate media doesn't even pretend to keep track of all of them anymore...but then again, how could they, they would need to do a spin-off channel just for that!!!!!

4. No....
Scandal tolerant is the correct term. Because if it was a DEMOCRAT involved in scandal, there would be no tolerance, no burnout...no surcease...no mercy, no quarter, no exile...they would be after the DEMOCRAT like stink is on shit!!

But because the scandals these days all involve "the good 'ol boys" in the Network (Repukes) as the bad guys...the media et al is scandal tolerant. Tolerant, because the guilty people in these scandals are the guys THEY see as the good guys. Ends justifies the means to these people...the MSM probably looks at someone like Ken Lay with admiration at what that ass-clown pulled off, ripping pensions away from thousands of workers, while himself descending on a golden parachute...

See, now, if it were a DEMOCRAT...or a supporter of Democrats, or a liberal...or an outspoken liberal...or worse, an uppity woman...they would be all over the guilty party in the scandal.

May I remind you of how quickly Martha Stewart got hung...and how long it took to get Ken Lay?
And, while Martha spent actual time in jail...and served out her sentence...who here besides me is betting Assclown Lay never sees the inside of a prison?? Who here besides me is betting Assclown Lay gets pardoned by Bush?

2. Being Unemployed For A Year, Because Of Legal Discrimination
I'm transgender. Try and find a government official who will stand up for my right to earn a living without harassment. Good fuckin' luck!

I hate this fucking country.

7. That pisses me off too.
I'm transgender and I am sick of my gender situation being couched as a "phase" or as a disorder..Godammit,Transpeople are born transgender and we need to be who we are.I don't care if my genderlessness upsets people who are conditioned by their stoopid religion or their own bigotries or internal phobias that make them so scared of gender different people enough to be an asshole to us or to deny us human rights or a living...These oh so rigid losers with their fucking authoritarian sickness need to get over themselves and shut the fuck up.!.Regardless of what the assholes would say about trans-people out of their fucking ignorant self serving asses,Sometimes biology, especially to a person who does not feel at home in their own body, is tyranny!

3. It'd be easier to tell you what doesn't piss me off
I keep hoping I'll wake up, but every day dawns like the last -- another window on hell opens -- and I know we're well and truly screwed.

Welcome to DU, btw! Enjoy the little things....

6. Since you asked..
What's pissing me off??

Lets see.. The fucking assholes who want women to live as if they are pregnant.. These males are just Goddamn nazis they are..The Nazis said the SAME sort of propaganda these right wing thugs say now,and because Americans don't study history, civil rights or know the constitution they get duped.Feminism needs to get some TEETH and start busting some misogynists balls. For real with NO apologies..

What else..

This stupid war,and the coming war with IRAN..Fuck this shit,,I wish that BUSH Cheney and the whole lot of these neocon thugs sand war profiteeers were shipped out there and were getting shout at,Hopefully the Iraqis would have good aim...GRRRR

And what about the fucking thieves in suits looting our economy and bullying all the workers who are so caught up with fear and keeping their nose to the grindstone they won't do a national strike to help thier own situation..And this stupid atomized self absorbed culture ,engineered by the state ,where people DON'T relate or support each other really ,everyone is running around chasing work so there is no TIME to put down roots in a neighborhood, goddammit people are being sucked dry by the corporations..Don't people realize corporations need to be kept on a VERY short leash and forced to be accountable and transparent? Most Ceo's are sociopaths anyway.

Oh and another thing,I am SICK of violent movies, movies that glorify torture rape or abuse..I am SICK of the flippant attitudes about pedophilia, child abuse or rape.. I hate victims of crimes being made into fodder for bad comedy by ugly hearted funnymen that are not funny to anyone but goddamn sociopaths.Goddammit torture,humiliation,suffering,sickness,shame,sadism..it is NOT funny. It's just sick. And if that many people out there think molester jokes are funny... I shudder to think how DESENSITIZED and coarse our nation has become about issues that really scar people.Fuck!

I am so sick of it all.I fucking HATE the bullies, the popular snide snarky types, the assholes ,con men and the endless stream of crass bullshit that seems to capture the publics eyes, the tasteless crude inhuman shit that is called "entertainment" these days is disgusting .Reminds me of Imperial ROME when a victim in the Colosseum was being tortured much to the sadistic glee of an inhuman audience that had no use for empathy.

And goddamn the American Talibornagains..If I had my way, I would force them out of power, drive them back into their churches and BAN these fucking dangerously insane pieces of shit from politics forever.
I wish they'd all kill themselves, same for all the bullies authoritarians, sadists, conduct disordered assholes, and sociopaths..I wish they'd all go away forever.

Ok Done..For now.

8. well, for me it's the failure of the Democrats to . . .
Edited on Tue May-30-06 03:28 AM by OneBlueSky
act as an opposition party to the BushCo corporatocracy . . .

I've been a registered Democrat all my adult life, and I almost always vote for Democratic candidates . . .

but I honestly don't know if I will be able to vote for any Democrat who supports the war in Iraq (or any of several other issues) . . .

I'll be voting against Hillary in the senatorial primary . . . what I'll do in November depends on how things play out between now and then . . .
