I thought people bolted after the CAFTA vote why are they still here?

I am really confused that their stilll around. Ah well It's gong to be sweet rebuilding the party once the freepers, and posers are gone. That's how you make the party stronger you get ride of the politicians and members of the base who dont do anything but complain. In short you vote that Dem out you dont walk out..
Senator Kerry used to say in the debates "That it's deed not words that matter." And it's going to be sweet hard work building the party back up if Alito is confirmed. Now I wonder how many poseres that say there Dems on this page actually voted for Senator Kerry, and are not just trying to cause division and tension in our ranks?

2. Deed does matter...Kerry should remember.

that he did not do us any good deeds by succumbing so quickly.

That he did not protest over how he was raped by the Right in Ohio and all across the country.

Kerry denying that he spoke with Mark Crispin Miller and even knew of the voter fraud but said nothing.

It is getting increasingly difficult to donate money to an organization that continually backs down.

3. Because it's still a two party system?

I am not overly enamored with dems but I like the repugs a hell of a lot less. Bernie Sanders is my idea of an ideal Congressman & soon hopefully an ideal Senator, if I could have anything in the world it would be 535 Bernies.

But really, a lot of the Party's vitality comes from all the noise and disagreement. If we all agreed on everything and spoke exactly the same we would be republicans.

Remember what I said. Vote the democrats that you dont like the ones who wont vote no to Alito out. I am looking for vialable alternative to Bean because of her voting record - still haven't found one - but I am not going to throw the baby out with the bath water. I was probably one of the ones bitching the loudest about CAFTA I thought that was truely a sellout of the American working class. I would indeed go elsewhere & I had great hopes for the Greens. I feel our best chance of effecting meaningful change is by taking over the democratic party and I think we are successfully doing so. It has been a long slow process but it is happening.

which is why I am probably either going to vote against bean or leave the ballot box blank. But I honestly do think the best thing the most productive thing to do is fire these false dems out. Otherwise were letting the gop play us. I hope were cool
