1. Matthews must not be getting enough at home, he does seem
to be particularly obsessed with sex, not just with Clinton, remember his swooning over bush's phony "package" during the "Mission Accomplished" episode.

Is Matthews Opus Dei?

17. Tweety's "swooning" over "Bush's phony package"--yes, I remember it well
"We’re proud of our president. Americans love having a guy as president, a guy who has a little swagger, who’s physical, who’s not a complicated guy like Clinton or even like Dukakis or Mondale, all those guys, McGovern. They want a guy who’s president. Women like a guy who’s president. Check it out. The women like this war."

Chris Matthews, Harball, May 1, 2003

11. You see dogday, it really works if you say it often enough, it becomes the
"truth". The NYT is a fine example of that.

The right are the masters of this... People don't care to check it out, just hear the sound bite and they know the gospel... It is a crying shame

9. Dean hit that one out of the park
I thought Tweety was going to pop a blood vessel, "You mean to tell me that when you all get together the state of the Clinton's marriage isn't topic one???!!!???!!!1"

Dean was clearly enjoying himself. He saw his pitch coming, and he hit it out of the park.

12. That was terrific
Matthews made himself look really, really tiny, obsessed and trivial.

By anybody's standards.
