I'm going to see AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH tonight
One great thing about living in Los Angeles is the early film openings.

Has anyone seen it yet?

2. NPR raved about it last night
Their science guy and film critic went to see it and said it was mind-blowing, both as film and as science.

5. I have to wait for 2 weeks!
And even then, I need to take a 2-hour boat ride to where it's playing. Unless they add one of the local theaters to the list.

7. Oh, Thank You So Much. I Live Here In Florida & Have YET To Hear That
much about it. I know CNN & MSNBC talked about it, but not sure how much. I rarely watch them anymore. Just a couple of programs. Keith had some of it last night, but I like clip you posted.

Guess MOST of the news is about Lay, but I'm so glad you posted this. I can't wait to see this. I'm going to send it to all my friends!!!

8. I've seen his speech on global warming that Linktv showed.
And I am guessing that's the same speech that was filmed for his new movie.

You will walk away with a new perception of Al Gore. Especially when juxtaposed against our present Retard.

9. My son was invited to a special prescreening in Seattle w/ Al Gore
Edited on Thu May-25-06 04:28 PM by Divernan
My son is an environmental writer/reporter and snagged an invite to a special showing for the environmental community in Seattle. Afterward Al Gore spoke to the audience, answered questions and then shook hands with anyone who came up to talk to him. My son is Mr. Cynical about politicians, but he was quite impressed with both the film and Mr. Gore.

It won't open in my town until June 16th, and I am really looking forward to seeing it. The NY Times reviewer, A. O. Smith, who is about as tough an audience as you can get, raved about the film as I have never heard him do before. He said there are parts where the audience gasps.

Be sure and tell us about the audience reaction.

13. You are a lucky DUer to get to see him!
I heard him speak to a crowd of Dems during his last campaign and he was an excellent and very humorous and then passionate about this country speaker.

Be sure and come back and tell us about the evening and what he was like and had to say.

15. Oh, my — what to say? He's just magnificent. And what a mind!
Quick, funny, brilliant, well-informed.

One of my favorite things — he described the media as being like a referee in professional wrestling; always having his back turned when something against the rules was going on on the ring.

made in NY last night. I answered you by mistake.

16. It was great! It should convince anyone who still doubts global warming
I suggest that everyone try and take someone with them who is still skeptical of global warming. President Gore lays it all out in easy to understand graphics, charts, photos and film.

GO SEE IT!

I know it will take a while to get to your city but be patient and make plans to see it!
