He doesn't care what people think of him or the scandals in the Administration. He wouldn't have put NSA director Hayden up for the CIA post when everyone was pissed about NSA reports if he cared.

As part of lower taxes? As part of the war on terror? Because of Ken's "pro-life" stance? No, I just don't think he can politically. You screw up that bad, they cut you loose.

12. I agree
I mean maybe the last few days in office, when he won't be paying any political price for it, and then only if the Dems win in 2008. But even that relies on Bush giving a damn about someone who's not himself. And I'm not sure I'd bet on that.
