Dear Moderators, Can we have a new thread for the Leopold/Rove/Pitt Saga?
Pretty please? The current thread has well over 100 responses (more like 140), and it is difficult to post on and read, for those of us with old fashioned dial-up modems!

Or, is it your intent to keep this current thread as the final one, while still not allowing any other posts to be made independent of this one? (I realize there are 2 "offical" threads on this subject, the other one being the post by kpete on the 'apology' from T.O., but that thread is even longer!)

3. Your advise is stupid. Why would I post the request if I didn't want to
read the threads? Are you trying to supress free speech?

 and :sarcasm:

9. Your post is stupid
The moderators are sick of making new threads for this very old issue.

You still have your free speech, obviously. Just a slow connection.

:nopity:

13. Actually, I think they're tired of policing the threads
it takes very little time to create a thread and lock an old one.

18. I'm channeling them
It doesn't matter if it's that, or if it's what's described in post #13 (tired of policing the threads).

They've made their decision and usually if someone disagrees with a mod decision there's a process for them to follow. Not sure of the exact details but I don't think it involves posting in GD.

5. That wasn't good advice at all
There are people who may be interested in these or other threads and WBAS brings up a good point about the modem thing, shit when these threads get that long it even takes a while to load the page with DSL.

I am not trying to stir the pot, but I really do not think advice like that is helping her's and other people's situation(s).

Peace! :)

8. Excuse me, but precisely ONE week ago TODAY, Leopold and Pitt and
T.O. stated that they did KNOW something CONCRETE about "the Rove stuff"!

22. And?!
Com'on, this is insane. Why can't we just have a spearate forum for this. Especially since what http://www.madcowprod.com has is a little bigger than just a coincidental connection between a few persons of interest. Here is one of the biggest cocaine busts ever tied to Congress-bribing defense contractors, the congressmen who accepted those bribes, and a couple of the individuals thought to be involved with planning and executing the 9/11 attacks, BUT IT GETS MOVED TO THE "9/11 DUNGEON"!!!!!!!!! WTF!?!?!?!?
I call BULLSHIT on this one.

23. I have to check out the article over at MadCow, but must say that it
was great that some of Daniel's investigation on 9/11 was used in Everybody Gotta Learn Sometime! It was an excellent documentary!

7. The other thread is basically a Leopold thread.
Apparently if you want to start a thread on Rove's upcoming indictment...you can. I think it's basically back the way it was before.

15. I thought that was the case until Ben B (?) just posted a thread, and
when I tried to edit my post for typos, I couldn't because it had already been locked by the mods, after only 3 replies had been posted!

So no, we are NOT back to where it was before.

11. I got the feeling the ModMins are wanting it to die under its own weight.
The threads are have pretty much reduced the saga to finely minced hash.

20. I agree with you about the Mods intent, but, while I have by no means
read all of the threads, some of the most useful debate was generated on the currrent thread...but its too unwieldy for me to click on to.

wrst. 'the finely minced hash'...yeah, that too!
