19 Cubans reach Florida's shores
http://www.duluthsuperior.com/mld/duluthsuperior/news/nation/14363814.htm

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Nineteen Cubans, including three children, reached Hollywood, Fla., on Monday and admitted to authorities that smugglers brought them, officials said.

The group of 12 men, four women and three children touched land shortly before 6 a.m. The location is less than a mile from where a much smaller group of Cubans arrived earlier this month, said Hollywood Police spokesman Capt. Tony Rode.

Police said someone in the group might have called police to tell them they had arrived, Rode said.

"When we got there, they were all standing there waiting," he said. snip

Under the U.S. immigration policy known as "wet foot, dry foot," Cubans who land on U.S. soil can remain in the country and apply for permanent residency.

1. Send them home!
Equal protection under the law should mean that we treat them no better than mexican illegal immigrants.

(The real answer is to let them ALL stay!)

2. I agree
The same for the Haitians.

Haitians are automatically sent back, Cubans are not. Their excuse is that the Haitians are coming for economic reasons and the Cuban are coming because of political reasons. Castro is the model of stability compared to what the Haitians have gone through for over 100 years.

3. Oh but Castro is such a nice guy!
This story must have been fabricated by right-wing elements. No one could possibly be trying to escape Cuba because it's such a nice place to live with excellent health care.

NOTE: This post is sarcastic.
