Report Says FAA Got 52 Warnings Before 9/11 (oops! - old story)
Edited on Fri May-19-06 12:10 AM by NorthernSun
The Federal Aviation Administration received repeated warnings in the months before Sept. 11, 2001, that al Qaeda hoped to attack airlines, according to a previously undisclosed report by the commission that investigated the terrorist attacks.

The report detailed 52 such warnings to FAA leaders between April 1 and Sept. 10, 2001, about the terrorist organization and its leader, Osama bin Laden.

1. This part doesn't make sense (among much not making sense)
'Aviation officials were "lulled into a false sense of security" and "intelligence that indicated a real and growing threat leading up to 9/11 did not stimulate significant increases in security procedures."'

So, they were lulled into a false sense of security byt the real and growing threat since no security procedures were increased?

3. Old story?
Anything that is three years old still has a chance to sink into the mainstream's grey matter.

5. Old to us, news to many.
I've seen some recent threads on 9/11 that contains stuff that's been reposted here numerous times, but I see comments like, "really? I didn't know that." I think there's a clear majority of Americans who know very little about 9/11...but I also believe that there are signs that many are starting to tune back in.

4. If only they had wire tapped more phones
They might have become aware of these warnings if they had just listened in on the right conversation.

6. Fox TV episode with 9/11 premonition,March 4th,2001
:dem:March 4, 2001....6 mos. before 9/11... The Lone Gunmen series aired on FOX TV. :eyes:

The pilot episode of this X-Files spinoff was about a commercial airliner being flown into the World Trade Center by a covert group within the US government in order to create an alleged terrorist attack on the US.
The Lone Gunmen series aired on FOX TV.The Lone Gunmen were a trio of fictional characters who had recurring roles on The X-Files and also starred in a short-lived spin-off; The Lone Gunmen.: The name was derived from the lone gunman theory. In a foreshadowing of the September 11, 2001 attacks, subsequent conspiracy theories, and the 2003 invasion of Iraq, the plot of the March 4, 2001 pilot episode of the series depicts a secret U.S. government agency plotting to crash a Boeing 727 departing from Boston into the World Trade Center  via remote control for the purpose of increasing the military defence budget and blaming the attack on foreign "tin-pot dictators" who are "begging to be smart-bombed." This episode aired in Australia less than two weeks before the 9/11 attacks, on August 30. :yoiks:

This pilot episode was filmed between March 20 - April 7, 2000, 19 months before 9/11.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQyYuWXp3E8&search=The%2...

9. 9-11 links to NSA spying PRE 9/11, NSA 'policy shift' again PRE 9/11

BTW, Indira Singh's whistleblowing on Ptech, now GoAgile, hasn't resulted in media inquiring more about this company, which apparently still has business with the Bush WhiteHouse, the DoD/military, and FAA.

Combine this information with the wargames ongoing on 9/11 (Vigilant Warrior, Vigilant Guardian, etc.) and you have an interesting scenario that needs explaining.
