What dance will you do/what flowers will you throw at our liberators?

Let's face it, some country is going to say "enough already," and invade us to overthrow King George the Torturer. They might do it by themselves, or, probably more realistically, with a coalition of countries who have grown weary of our unquenchable thirst for war, our threats and intimidation, our war crimes, and the many crimes against humanity committed by BushCo.

So here they come.

In the spirit of Rumsfeld's assessment of how Iraqis would greet liberating Americans, what dance will you do and what kind of flowers would you throw?

Dance

I thought I'd either do the Twist or the polka, but you have to have a partner for the polka. A disco-type dance might be kinda nice: upbeat and flashy. I've thought about the waltz. It would add an air of class to the invasion, but then again, as with the polka, I'd need a partner. A dance the liberatees could do by themselves might work best, since one never knows what kind of Hell and chaos breaks out at a liberation; it might be difficult to find a partner

Flowers

I'm not much of a green thumb so this poses a significant problem. I might try to grow something easy in my backyard, maybe some patience or carnations. I've thought about roses, "Hey, Liberator! Here's you flowers! Catch!" "Thanks, they're beautiful...Ouch!," but that might get them angry and I wouldn't want to make anyone with an AK-47 mad. I suppose there's always plastic flowers (ease and convenience) but then again, these might be seen as a faux pas of international proportions.

Anyway, I don't think it's too early to plan on how to greet our liberators.

So, what are your choices for dance and flowers?

Dance: something I can do in pointe shoes and a tutu (Visulize middle aged pudgy female in lycra, pointe shoes and tutu...and yes, I do study ballet.) Perhaps music from Chinese opera?

Flowers: Carnations, I think. They smell nice and lack thorns.

20. Who would do it?

The only ones that could take over this country is Mexico, and they won't do it militarily. They will keep coming in until they vote themselves in office and slowly but surely become the governing body of this country. But no one will militarily liberate us from Bush.
