...it's a beach area. i almost bought some property in nearby san isidro del general about 6 or 7 years ago.

instead i bought in the quepos area and also in sarapiqui.

land prices are on the rise here daily. gringoes and euros are snapping up the good stuff driving the prices way up. you can still find great deals inland up in the mountains but coastal areas are high priced.

as for the money....the US dollar is worth just over 500 Colones (the costa rican unit of money). and the US dollar gains more value here almost daily.

The fuss is about Jason Leopold saying the indictments came down ALREADY on May 12, that Rove was given 24 hours to get his affairs in order............and too many not getting that official notice to Rove is NOT an obligation to hold a press conference for Fitz, who is entitled to do whatever is most convenient to him and his team.

Since the breakdown of a plea discussion is what caused Fitz to give the 24 hour ultimatum, (again, what happens after that is at HIS discretion, not Rove's), it's possible that the delay is another attempt to hammer out a plea. Dunno. Maybe Fitz had to see his dentist in Chicago, or get a haircut.

Or Rove's wife begged Fitz to let him stew long enough to drop another ten pounds in addition to the fifty that melted off the pudge. Who knows?
