Watching MTP - the talking heads really are completely disconnected
Edited on Sun May-14-06 10:10 PM by NRaleighLiberal
from reality. talking about McCain's speech in the den of the enemy...about Bush*'s image problem, as if people really, really, really want to like him, and his poll numbers will go up if he is just a little more straight and forthcoming with information.

Man, talking about not seeing the forest for the trees. Don't they see - or, more precisely, WHY don't they see - that this arrogant, little, pissant life-long failure, with an ego an infinite factor of his abilities, CANNOT govern, cannot succeed at anything, and never will. He is a loser, plain and simple. He is the silver spoon, schoolyard bully that the other kids dreaded when he showed up. He was the stupid cut up in your class who was bailed out by rich parents.

Why can't they see that this is more serious than just treating it as a sporting event, or a restaurant review - this is our country, this is a lifestyle that many, many, many have fought and died for. We are a world wide embarassment, on the verge of disaster at any moment, due to the misleadership of this most corrupt, morally bankrupt, devious, slimy misadministration.

You just want to reach into the TV and grab these idiots by the neck, or slap them upside the head, to remove whatever hypnotic spell that they are under and get them to do their job, dammit!

1. He gave them an enormous series of tax cuts...
and they don't want to wave buh-bye to them.

Greed and laziness.

3. Thank you for watching MTP.
I do not have the nervous system to listen or watch any MSM. That includes NPR. I now only watch local news. Your take on MTP et al is right on.

I rely on the many DUers here who relay any important matter from the MSM. I am deeply grateful to all who posted LBN and editorials.

... a minimum of six figures annually and every damned one of them is pocketing Busholini payola in tax benefits while increasing millions are impoverished and tens of thousands are being murdered. Their "good life" is even better when compared to so many who are suffering.

5. Bush was a failure at everything he tried before being ordained as Preside
Edited on Sun May-14-06 10:10 PM by tulsakatz
nt........

...and he's been a failure at everything he's done since!!

They're probably saying that about his image because at one time he was perceived as a likeable person.........back when his poll numbers were better. But now he's proved himself to be such a liar, I doubt if anyone would still like him again!!

If he did try telling the truth for a change, it probably would improve his poll numbers a little. People would much rather hear the truth.........even if it's something they don't want to hear, if they feel like the person is being sincere and straightforward.

6. You have to earn trust, however - and it is just not going to happen
with this buffoon. Too many examples of the boy who cried wolf. I would, could, never, ever believe anything that spewed from his filty trap - except I RESIGN, if he had no other choice.

9. that's true...
....even if we were inclined to trust the govt, which we're not, we certainly wouldn't trust these buffoons!! They haven't given us any reason to trust them.

What is really surprising to me is the way they always act like we're supposed to trust them and when we don't, they always seem so surprised!! As if that's how it was always done before....

I know Bush is not especially bright but I would have thought he would have figured this out by now........
