What about the * Administration infuriates you the most?
Stealing the elections? Wiping their ass with the Constitution? Creating a "you're either with the Republicans or with the terrorists" atmosphere in America? Having an insatiable love for war and death, as much of it as possible? Allowing/causing 9/11 to happen? The abysmal way they delt with Katrina? Or just their arrogance that has caused the whole world to turn against us?

For me, it's stealing the elections. It showcases their arrogance and sets the stage for everything else.

with outrageous falsehood and it being picked up and filtered thruout our society. that includes, when they know they are going ot be called on something they immediately start accusing the other side of it to murk up the waters. it entails so much of who they are as a party

8. The absolute secrecy!
They insist on keeping EVERYTHING secret thus making me believe everything they're doing is evil, illegal, or just plain wrong! If you are sooo afraid to say who attended meetings, to admit what you really are doing in all the different programs, you MUST HAVE SOMETHING TO HIDE!

9. Oh, I forgot
The other thing that infuriates me is the double standards for Republicans and everyone else. Republicans can make death threats against liberals, break the law with their every move, start wars, steal elections, and molest children, but if a Dem even had the thought of doing those things cross his mind, he would be impeached/arrested/fired/investigated/hung/drawn/quartered/or all of the above

15. Oh I just love going on this rant...
9/11 really did change everything (and I am not going to go into the LIHOP or MIHOP arguments). After the 9/11 attacks Bush had such an amazing opportunity to unify the nation and the world and make this a wonderful society, nation and planet. The nation of Iran held a moment of silence in sympathy for the attacks! In France it was declared, "Today we are all Americans." Denmark (I think) offered to fly fighter patrols along our coast. The houses of Congress were working together without partisanship. That was what could have been he turning point for this country. I have no doubt that many of the things we all want, universal healthcare, economic justice, human rights, could have been passed or put into effect after 9/11. This could have been a great society.

But this is what he did with it. He has squandered all the international support and goodwill. He has destroyed our infrastructure. He has savaged our economy. He has us mired in a war that there is no end. And yes I blame him for all that. I am most infuriated by what could have been, but was not.

The total lack of regard for human rights and human suffering within the borders of the country which he supposedly leads, and the lack of any caring for any who can not somehow serve him and his family.

His blatant disregard of the laws of this land as set forth in the Constitution of the United States, and above all, His lies.

19. Loss of history
Edited on Sun May-14-06 10:31 AM by Asgaya Dihi
Seems strange till you think about it, but what bothers me most is what seems to be the total loss of any historical perspective. We act as if this is the worst thing we've ever faced (terrorism) and anything can be justified by it. In that effort we ignore laws, historical precedent, our own Constitution and we seem able to reshape and rewrite events to suit our needs with no solid connection to reality required.

It's launched us into a fantasy land where reality is the smallest part of what justifies our actions, and I'm not so sure it's going to be easy to get away from that now that it seems firmly entrenched.

20. What about the * Administration infuriates you the most?
• Cratering this economy into the 2nd Great Depression & making it next to impossible for people to get jobs.

• Starting an insane, illegal, unjustified Vietnam-type war.

• Leaving gulf coast residents to die in Katrina.

• Working to ensure that healthcare will only be available to the wealthiest.

• Making sure the United States pisses off every other country in the world.

• Torturing people/holding people w/o a trial and then claiming the moral high ground.

• Using the Constitution as toilet paper.

They simply do not believe in the United States, in its Constitution, that its people have any worth/value and that the govt should not serve the needs of the people, but should be treated as a trough of money for their cronies and themselves.

23. at this point, I have to say "everything"
as much as I have disliked the Bush family since the mid- to late- 80's, each day brings new anger and disbelief toward these people. I don't like their policies, the smug smirk, and the public ignorance of it's Figurehead in Chief.

Papa Bush is a criminal, but in comparison, at least he was somewhat competent - not only are we being merrily lead into Hell by these thugs, but we look like idiots to the rest of the world.

Every time I see a photo of Bush and any other world leader, I cringe.

Whenever I hear the Great Decider speechify, I cringe.

When he chuckles like he's the only smart person in the world, I cringe.
