1. My gawd, we better not screw this up; charisma and character, we
need the whole package this time, can't afford to miss this opportunity.

2. Adults? Or people who vote? Many adults don't vote.

3. I'd feel better if they surveyed Registered or Likely Voters.
"Adults" don't vote ... not enough, anyway.

8. Me, Too!
I'd feel happier if the pollsters surveyed registered or likely voters, too. In 2004, such pollsters gave many of us the hope that the Duck Soup Posse would be sent out to posse. Well, the apathetic came through for the GOP and the slackers lived up to their billing, so the country is in its current mess and things are getting worse.

I'm a graying Baby Boomer and I'm still wondering how many of the little dipsticks are still pleased with themselves for sitting on their hands last election.

6. Looks like we need to really court the Independents.
That would tip the balance in our favor from the looks of it. Forget the ones with Kool-Aid IV drips, they're lost souls.

7. Even the Democrats
are coming around. It used to be 13% that were on some other planet.
