Hayden's wiretap actions "would've been guided" by top gov.attorneys
According to a former Air Force Secretary, anyway. Maybe it's time to drag those folks out and see what all they "approved" and who asked them to do so.
And getting FISA approval with "good reason backed by the facts"...explains why this regime chose to bypass FISA. No reason/fact = no approval.

But people with Alamo City ties probably are more familiar with him from his days at the Air Intelligence Agency — a highly secretive Air Force organization that has a public affairs office but little contact with the media.

Some think Hayden's connections to the city have had a dramatic impact on San Antonio. They point to the NSA's arrival here as a key case in point. City officials and Hayden worked together in the past year to plan the Texas Cryptology Center, the NSA campus at the former Sony plant in Northwest San Antonio, said Ramiro Cavazos, municipal economic development director.

But Peters doesn't know what to make of the wiretap flap and Hayden's role in it. Peters said he has gone to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court to obtain wiretaps, and said winning approval "just requires a good reason" backed by the facts.

"I cannot imagine Mike Hayden violating the law," he said, explaining that Hayden's actions as NSA director would have been guided by opinions issued from top government attorneys.

Just wanted to give a little background on the guy..his time running that "secret" unit down in San Antonio and the involvement of the chimp regime's lawyers...as if these cronies would ever tell chimp or Cheney NOT to do something they want to do, right?
