Verizon Sued in NJ. Bell South anyone??

NJ lawyers have sued Verizon for violating the Telecommunications Act when they gave Bushworld citizens phone records. If it becomes class action it will be for $5 billion.

If anyone hears of an action filed against BELL SOUTH would they be sure to post it here. Thanks. Some of us live where we have no choice except BS and I really want to follow any suit or join one.

You'll see plenty of notices of these class action suits.

They'll be popping up everywhere - hundreds, maybe thousands.

Then they'll be consolidated.

I think the grand jury is gonna do what it's gonna do, and that's all I think.

But, if you're looking for Rove to be indicted over the substantive matter of the Plame outing, I seriously doubt that's going to happen. I hope I'm wrong, but if any indictment is forthcoming on that pigface, it'll be like Libby's.

there was a story in the Seattle PI about it today - also $5 billion.

I would not want to own stock in Verizon.

Can't find out anything about my telephone company, GCI - if anyone knows anything, please post in the Alaska forum!!

My daughter and ex are on BellSouth, so I'd be interested in that, too.
