Am I paranoid for thinking this?
Okay, so I paid for the taxes on my car in another county because it still had me there as living there right? I shouldn't have had to pay that, but the records still said that. Well now my current county is making me pay taxes on my car too. The system is completely messed up.

My mom owes more than she thought. I haven't even gotten my state back yet. I'm about to contact them.

Tax system was never this badly messed up before Bush got into office. Could the two be related?

1. I'm sure your phone records are in pristine order with them, though. nt

3. that happened to me once...
I think you have to go to the old address and get a copy showing it already paid, and take it to the new place.

5. Well I called them.
They're saying the bill I just paid came from last year. This is a brand new year and a brand new bill to pay. I could have sworn I paid last year's car tax last year, but they're saying I didn't until March. Whatever.

Car taxes should be wrong. We have a right to property. Why should we be taxed for it? This is not constitutional in my whole opinion.
