Prediction October is the D day month for Roe v Wade
I predict that if Alito is confirmed than abortion will be outlawed in October. Since the catholic church has dubbed October "Prolife" - there term not mine - I have a feelling that's when Roe will be overturned. The whole thing makes my skin crawl.

2. Well I think the Court is still pro-Roe v. Wade
In favor are Stevens, Breyer, Ginsburg, Kennedy and Souter.

Opposed are Thomas, Scalia and we assume Roberts and Alito.

But Stevens in 86, so things are really hanging by a thread here.

6. Part of me thinks that's why senator kerry conceded so easily
I love Senator Kerry I just think that the Bishops council forced him to step down before they went through on thier threats to excummunicate him.

8. Why do people always predict dire things for October?? My favorite month?
I swear every single time someone predicts something ugly, it's in October. Stop it! I love October! It's the prettiest, most beautifully romantic month of the year. Instead.. why not beware the ides of march?

9. Naw.. they will weasel out like they always do..
They do not intend to "solve" their pet problem issues.. There would be no bloody shirt to wave at their bottom-dwelling troglodytes every election cycle..

That';s why they always weasel out on their pet issues:

guns
god(abortion-pledge of allegiance-10 commandments everywhere)
gays

if they ever "solve" these issues, why would the vermin crawl out of their holes every other November?

11. No they won't. That will get out every prochoice voter in November.
And they know most of this country is prochoice.

And I doubt that many prochoicers will be fooled into a Diebold outcome this time, even with media spin.
