From everything I have read it is illegal under FCC rules for phone companies to furnish phone records on their customers. Also I don't think there's any contract that states that you agreed to hand over your service records to the Government should they request it.
I am sure there's some smart attorneys here... Why not press a Class Action lawsuit against ATT, Verizon, et al. Maybe if we sue them for being complicit with the illegal actions of this White House and make it hurt them enough in the pocketbook, other companies will stand firm in refusal to hand over our information (as Google and Qwest have done).
