H. Clinton praising Bush on Lou Dobbs live and in color
calls him charming and other glowing remarks. Dobbs makes links to the recent inroads with Murdock and FOX. It was sickening.

The only politicians that seem to get any real consideration these days are buffoonish caricatures of whom they started out to be.. We want the candy, and even though we know they will abuse us after they give us the candy, we keep getting into that damned car..

We need someone more like Bulworth :)

vote from the right? They HATE her. She's losing any base she had in the first place. I like Bill a lot and usually don't use this much venomous profanity, but she's absolute scum. I'd love a female president, but not this one. She's a war supporter, a corporate apologist and a completely spineless politician.

I'd talk about what I'd do if she were to be nominated, but I don't have to. Polls show her garnering 26% of the vote. Bye-bye, skank. You and Lieberman can both go to hell.

And that's fine with me, because I think that if she won then there would be more NAFTA and more "free" trade and more wars. I also don't think that she would investigate anything that the Repugs did during Bush's term, but would do exactly what President Clinton did and try to ignore it all and "move on".

It's downright stupid to go on Lou Dobbs's show and antagonize his fans.

It'll be forgotten within a month or so and is just typical nicey-nicey stuff that politicians do when they want to be seen as appealing to a wide range of voters.

I find it meaningless and in a strange way it gives me more respect for her because I know she isn't an idiot - she has to know this will drive people insane, but she did it anyway. It's kind of gutsy in my opinion.

15. They (Republicans) want Hillary to run.....
They want her to run because then Republicans know they can win. Their Republican base will never, never, NEVER vote for Hillary. In order to insure that she is the candidate, Murdock will even back her with some money. All of the Republican mouthpieces START their discussions these days assuming Hillary is ALREADY the Democratic candidate. Chris Matthews spits and sputters all the time about Hillary.....seldom talks about any other possibilty. He has been given his orders....and obviously has been told to talk only about Hillary.

(They must have a tremendous smear campaign against her ready to go.....it will only work if they can be sure that she is the candidate. They are starting early.)

25. Republicans are scared shitless of Hillary
The Republican base will never, never, NEVER vote for any progressive.

Hillary is the only Democratic candidate fully immunized from their smears. Americans know she was unfairly impugned by rancid Republicans during Bill's tenure, from Whitewater through Monicagate, and most of them see her as the ONLY ONE wronged by Bill's philandering.

When Republicans try to smear her, which they will because it's the only thing they know how to do, not only is it going to fall flat, but there will be a backlash for them trying, like with little Ricky Lazio, only a thousand-fold more. The backlash will be quiet in moderate voters minds, and from the progressive base on the net and on the tube, it's going to be loud and nasty when they try it.

I can't wait for them to start trying to smear Hillary. It will be payback time.

40. The flag burning amendment is not silly
In fact it is at the basis of our constitutional rights to protest and to not have any symbol made sacred by the state.
Were such a thing to pass I would feel compelled to burn the flag every day until arrested and so should any patriotic American that actually believes in the constitution and the freedoms it gives us.
You may be willing to sell off such principles but I am not.
But there is a lot of other good women in the party that do not sell out for the chance to run and we should support them if the do.

41. I couldn't agree more on flag-burning
It represents freedom of speech. More than that, it is a pure expression of the freedom of political speech which is the most important kind. A very counter-productive symbol in practice, but an important symbol of what we stand for to maintain.

You can relax, Hillary won't be sending any anti-flag-burning legislation to Congress.

28. Jimmy Carter was our first Tri-lateral-C-candidate..
It's been downhill ever since. Hillary is just the latest to prove to the impartial observer that there is no difference between parties who share a common goal....sucking ass for personal gain. Which sucker of ass do we vote for is the choice we are left with. A calculating sucker(Hillary), a dainty and urbane sucker(Kerry),a bumbling sucker(Gore)or a commanding distanced sucker(Clark). There was only one ass kicker as opposed to sucker in the last election and his name was Dean. His decision not to straddle the fence....smart, the splinters in your ass issue, is what alienated him to the party politic. Notice though that he is still an influential and viable player.

Until this party offers something DIFFERENT, drastically DIFFERENT it must resign itself to playing jax with the BIG girls and keep hoping that the butter-fingered bitch will drop enough for her to stay competitive... trickle down redux.

Of course the the BIG girl if falling behind she will simply pick up her jax and her ball...she owns both, and quit the game. We need to change the game folks, jax is for LITTLE girls.

At least JC is contrite. He was a good man, not especially erudite who was the first to sign into a triple D (DUMB DAMN DEAL). All those who followed knew exactly what kind of pact they were signing. Jimmy was a stooge, the rest are villians.

37. funny...John Edwards call the Cheneys loving parents
and great role models or whatever kind of insipid pap he said, and he's "classy" shrewd, "taking the high road" and what not, even though he's clearly talking through both sides of his mouth, yet when Hilary does the exact same sort of diplomatic safe talking she gets excoriated.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander...

42. He's a GUY!!
When we act with courtesy it's smart and civil. When some craven, power-hungry bitch does it she's sucking traitor cock. How hard is that to understand?

I think you don't like America very much.

46. I know I know i know why she did it!
Because she wants to dance with the Devil until she gets burned.
She was pro-war because she doesn't have enough of a spine to stand up and question this administration about this war. She is dancing with the devil because she wants to pander to most number of people, even now when dense brick-headed died in the wool Repubs are realizing this president is out of control!!! She will never get the nomination because she is too much of a panderer.

47. Why yes, don't cha know it's the ultimate in class?!?
I've been told that we must be classy and exercise decorum ... um, as we get our butts handed to us in the next election.

Why don't you understand his nuance. Edwards always practice that good Southern Charm.
