My encounters with Jack Abramoff...

I posted this several months ago, but it seems like I should do it again.

I was friends with Jack in summer camp in the late 60's. While a freshman at Umass in the fall of 1977, I spent a weekend with a high school friend at Brandeis. Living on the same floor with my friend was my one-time friend, Jack Abramoff. He seemed like he hardly remembered me, if at all, and had no interest in renewing our acquaitance. My friend didn't like him. Jack, he said, was aloof, liked to boss people around, and Jack was a weight lifter and strong, who often bullied people too. My friend also questioned his lifestyle, given Jack was an Orthodox Jew.

One last thing. My friend said Jack was the only really, really big fan of the rock band Queen he had ever met......

Same situation with Lynyrd Skynyrd.
