Anyone else catch that? Gov. Dean said not to worry-he liked the way it sounded. I am betting George pays for that all day today in "conferences".

1. Because
she sounds like one. She acts like a Speaker of the House is supposed to.

Denny Hastert acts like the Pillsbury Dough-Boy's evil twin. (But then, he was never anything more than Tom DeLay's puppet anyway.)

23. When I was at the DCCC headquarters 2 years ago
They had all of these buttons that said Speakerpelosi.com.

Shows how much they knew.

And I still have a few.

14. True enough. "a speaker", not "The Speaker"
but Snuffy didn't say "The," and you can't hear capital letters in speech.

OK, this joke is old already.

13. Howard loved it.
Did you see the big smile on his face when Snuffy said it?

He commented, something like "I like the sound of that". I don't recall exactly, but he was grinnin'.

Dr Dean was great, BTW.

25. What I remember is that he was one of the people who

felt betrayed when the Monica think was found to be true. The problem, I think, was that so many people, including Hillary, were sent out to deny things rather than BC just telling the truth.

His autobiography seemed to place him to Clinton's left when he was trying to choose who to work for in 1992 - he didn't like Clinton's approval of funding the Contras in the 80s and I think Clinton's approval of the death penalty. Stephanopolis's father was a Greek Orthodox priest (bishop?).

Dean by the way was really on message.
