The view from outside my office in San Diego.
It's a beautiful, warm spring day here in America's finest city.

Except for this everything would be perfect....

Remember, there is no evidence of price gouging.

George said so.

6. Yeah, Hawaii is always a little more pricey.
You just reminded me I have to take my annual surfing trip out to the north shore there soon.

3. You're making me homesick...
I live in San Diego for 7 years. I sure miss those days :(

Except for the gas prices...looks to be about 45 to 50 cents higher than here.

10. It goes up 4 cents a day here.
There's a gas station in view from my front window. Someday's I see them change the numbers twice a day.

9. I pulled up to a 76 station this morning
And stopped the pump at $30. While pumping I read 2 signs:

Short and sweet "Retail profit is 3.6 cents per gallon"

Long and whiny "Because of the recent rise in gas prices we are going to give a DISCOUNT to cash and 76 credit card users of 6 cents BLAH BLAH BLAH". Once I read that, I decided not to top off. Okay so first you are letting the corporate suck your profits dry then you are trying to force me to buy the corporate credit card so I have to help you feed the beast?

I think it is a sign of whats to come: Both Mobile and 76 in my area have cash/credit differences (like the old days) so others will follow.

Also, my spouse "filled 'er up" for $65 in her truck then went home and got on her scooter.

12. Give themselves 400 million dollar retirement packages?
And have their country club fees for the rest of their lives picked up as well?

For starters.
