Is it time for the Democrats to draw a line in the sand ? (over Alito)
It's obvious the guy is slipping and sliding around very important questions. Is it too much a gamble to vote on such ambiguous responses? Is this the time to filibuster the Senate? What if the Repubs then go to nuclear option? Should we just shut down the Senate? This is an historic time. No one can understand the significance of it at this time.

Democrats need to make a decision. Is this the time and place to filibuster a nominee? From what I have seen and heard in the last few days, I think it might be in the best interests of Americans if the Democrats take a stand now. Draw the line in the sand.

3. NO. Wait as long as poosible to annouce any intention of filibuster
Give the guy time to implode, give the hearing process a chance to ferret out his insainty to the public. Why give the repukes any opportunity to use their standard line of attack. By refusing to confirm a filibuster the Dems are not allowing the bullshit "up or down vote" "obstructionist" stuff to be taken seriously.

6. It's to give the Democrats the time to think of their vote...
and the consequences. Screw the Republicans.

8. I think they will - don't worry if they aren't screaming about it
Unlike republicans, we don't need to be like screaming banshees annoucing our entire gameplan during the opening kickoff of the game. I'll almost guarentee that this will be filibustered

10. Let A-lie-to keep talking --
I hope they are organizing now for a filibuster -- but you can be sure that they are being spied on -- and all their communication is being monitored.
