Anything and everything to enhance the 'Unitary Executive'. And this band of crooks - the republicans controlling Congress will happily cede more power to the Executive branch. Remember - the Constitution is just a quain old document to these folks.

4. Absurd. It's a good thing that would surely pass in Congress.
Why does Dimson need the power all to himself? So he can say he did it? What a turd.

9. Let's say congress granted him this power...
expecting him to immediately execute, but that did not happen?

What then? Would that bit of news sink deep into the oblivion of time?

Would future generations ever wonder why cafe standards are never raised?

11. If * gets the power
to single handedly raise standards, doesn't he then have the de facto power to lower them?

12. BINGO!!

Or more likely not raise the CAFE standards at all. It's just a ploy to un-Constitutionally lessen the power of the Legislative branch and enhance the Executive.
