3. DeLay Was The Delay

The weaseldick had his toadies move the start of the House session, which is when the SOTU is delivered, to January 31 so that DeLay could find a way to get out of his indictment and regain power. That's why Hastert moved the start date back to the last possible day, and now it's all moot as "da hammer" has been nailed and won't be playing reich-marshall of the House this year.

Of course booosh will scare the crap out of us about Iran...it's a great distraction. Think about this...the threat is what this regime needs. It needs to spread fear and this can't happen with yet another war...it requires a ongoing and building threat. Iran has turned into this regime's latest strawman. Now, if this regime wins seats in November and the asshat's popularity somehow rebounds, all bets on what he'll do in Iran are off.
