4. It's a giveaway.
$100 checks to people who don't even have cars? How does that possibly make sense? The gas tax break is much more practical. You drive, then you get a discount. The government shouldn't be in the business of buying iPods.

They are going to give us $100 of our own money which we have paid in taxes.
Then we will have to pay taxes on the $100 that they give us.
Then they get to drill in ANWAR.
Oh sure. You would figure more Americans would get pissed off at the Republicans for treating us like we are stupid once again.
