*sorry, I meant to post this under Lisa0825's "energy costs..." thread but hit the wrong button!*

I had read awhile back about the power used by those transformer-type plugs. Hate the way they use up all the space, but I was able to gang 4 of them up on one powerstrip. Now when I'm not using anything plugged into it, I just turn the strip off. Is that enough to stop the electricity?

Good tips here!
