I'm going to be writing state AG's and state child protective services, as well as local women groups in hopes of exploring the possibility that more such "homes for troubled girls" exist and need to be investigated.

1. Might be better to start a letter writing campaign to various
media outlets to investigate..maybe we can get some interest in the activist forum

2. I'll include media outlets as well in my letter writing
Thanks!

I thought about the activist forum and didn't feel comfortable about it. If that makes sense.

3. Wow, the more things change, the more they stay the same

Does anyone remember the magazine "New Times" from the 1970s?

It had a cover story about an abusive "home for wayward girls" in Texas, and the title headline was "Whippin' Little Girls for God." (For those who don't remember the magazine, I need to add that this was a left-leaning magazine and that they definitely did NOT approve of the abuse.)

Such an institution is an obvious potential hunting ground for a pervert. I should think that any half-aware child services agency would conduct thorough background checks of anyone who was employed there. That particular pervert's resume should have raised red flags all over the place.

4. He was also connected to the "Army of God" anti-choice
hate and violence group - which makes me wonder if they hang out at women's clinics looking for potential victims to sexually assault.
