Democratic party, because Hillary is playing by the rules and she's ahead. Brazile is spitting and stamping her feet, demanding that the rules be changed so her favorite, the new guy, has a better chance to upset his party elders. So leave, already - who's asking you to stay? CNN might miss your Obama-groveling, but nobody will miss your whining.

Obama knew the rules going in. His camp has blasted and mocked Clinton for wanting the delegates from MI and FL seated, using just that rationale, although it's obvious that if they had voted for him, he'd do exactly the same thing and his followers would be chanting about "democracy" all the way.

Did he complain about the system up front, or is it (as it seems)only when he thinks the superdelegates will help her? Easy answer.

1. A bit of history
Donna B. has been the single biggest African-American voter expert
and liaison to the ministers and community leaders for over a decade.

Don't get me wrong-- I think that's great, but I see her now as wanting
to control the process or she'll take her toys and go home. I'm
extremely disappointed by her "my way or the highway" agenda. The party
that gave her so much power --by not treating her like a Repub would treat
her-- could now lose a crucial election if her candidate doesn't prevail.

As for MI and FL, Obama et al waited until the last possible day to remove their
names from the MI ballot. They gambled, and they villified Clinton for leaving her name
on the ballot. Now they're attacking her for taking a huge risk. And they ignore that
whole FL Repub legislature and state law part.

It will never stop, will it?

2. agreed on MI and FL
The candidates were not obligated to remove their names from the ballot in MI so Clinton, Gravel and Kucinich did not. That seems like smart politics to me. And I don't see Dennis and Mike criticized over it.

FL had almost 2 million people vote. No campaigning allowed, but all the names were on the ballot. Hillary won FL overwhelmingly, yet I'm hearing many posters on DU say it's ok to disenfranchise those voters and the people who came out and voted for her in MI. The DNC screwed up, but we'll punish the voters? I would be pissed off if I lived in MI or FL.

These same posters who don't want to seat the FL and MI delegates also think it's ok to use low turnout caucuses to determine our nominee because if they can make it to a caucus everyone should be able to. If you can't it's because you're lazy or it's just tough shit. It's not right when the Republicans try to prevent counting Democratic votes via caging or Diebold maneuvers, but it's ok when we do it within the Democratic party if it benefits a candidate with the initials BO.

3. I've been suffering from "Donna Fatigue" ever since she screwed up Al Gore's 2000 campaign.
