I have to say... I'd be relieved!

Every time I start to warm up to Obama, I just come here and his "followers" totally turn me off.

It is to the point where I would fear for Hillary's life if she were to be nominated. I have felt this way for some time.

Now the "draft Al" talk is going public... and I am seeing it as more possible than ever before. Especially since the DCCC is seeing it's larger donors revolt.

What do you think of this:

1. I love Al Gore
but I don't think it will happen, he has gone beyond politics.

2. I'd be happy with an Al Gore nomination. I also think it would be an excellent
way to heal our party in so many ways. To heal the fractures of the present and right the wrongs of the past. The democratic party would be unstoppable if this was the outcome.

3. I understand your feelings about Obama's followers, however I look at them
a little differently, I think. I don't appreciate their bullying tactics, their obnoxious crowing or their negative remarks about Hillary, but that doesn't really affect my feelings about Obama. I'm just not sure that they will stick around to vote for him in the GE if he is the nominee. Much of his current support comes from young people who have the lowest percentage of voters who actually turn out at the polls and vote. They may be enthused now and voting for him in the primaries to help him secure the nomination, but will they carry that enthusiasm through to November? I feel that Hillary's supporters are more aware of the issues, more mature, if you will, and are more likely to still be working for her and supporting her through to the GE which makes her the more electable against John McCain, in my opinion.

4. Just saw him on 60 Minutes. NO WAY is this going to happen. He won't go for it.
It was very, very clear.
