Useful website for income investors
http://www.quantumonline.com

The site requires registration but no subscription.

If you are seeking information on Bonds, Debt Preferred Securities and other income producing securities, or if you are unfamiliar with how they work in general, this site is quite informative and easy to navigate.

Example;

You may have heard about "Master Limited Partnerships" before. Do you know how they work? How many there are? Their symbols? This site has a list of all available, publicly traded MLP's. When you open the list, each MLP has a link which when opened, offers several other links such as the Company profile, recent news releases, a NYSE link for share price quote, the prospectus and other useful information. (I would put up a link to that page, but it will default to the registration page if you are new to the site)

1. Another site which can provide trade info on Bonds;

Quantum Online provides info on fixed income securities but not $1,000.00 par bonds.

This site provides info on these commonly traded securities;

http://investinginbonds.com/

An example of the info available;

When the link above opens, you'll see a link titled "Corporate Market at a Glance". Clicking that link takes you to a page where you'll see a search box under "Search by Issuers".

Say you are interested in the corporate bonds offered by Boeing. Enter "Boeing" in the search and you'll get a list of all the bonds that have been traded recently on the OTC market. By clicking the "Cusip" on the left, you can find information on the current yield, yield to maturity, yield to call, call dates, size of the recent trades and price, etc.
