Yet another angio on Tuesday. There is no doubt that I need it, the symptoms are unmistable in me (at least I have them; many women and many diabetics never do).

Cardio says my spark plugs start to restenose after about four months--what bloody fun.

Benedryl and Valium for the appetizer and IV codeine for dessert, at least. Something good oughta come with that hotel bill.

Wish me luck--I'll admit that I'm in tears right now.

1. BTW, diabetics, take care of yourselves. But--
My very wise cardio (IMHO) says it's just going to happen to us regardless.

Anyway--cheers. :(

2. You Know How to Party, Grrrrl
I'm sorry to hear you're doing it at the unfunnest place on earth, and that you're having yet another procedure. That sure sucks, but I'm sure you'll be fine - you still have my best wishes.

PS Stop that! Not the tears, you're entitled to them, but the needing to go into the hospital. Just stay well, dammit.

3. Thanks for the good wishes!
It's cracking me that I've done everything just right this time--everything--and still having to deal with this.

I'm getting to be an old pro, though. It's funny to see the older men waiting for their first procedure when I'm wheeled in chatting with the catheter team like we are old friends!
