Double Fuckedy Fuck - Big Decline in My Kidney Function

When I took my sore gut in to see my doctor, he had some kidney function tests done, and I just assumed I'd be where I was six months ago.

Well, no. Looks like I'm entering Stage 3 renal failure. Not the end of the world, not the beginning of dialysis, but goddamn does that suck.

Kidney failure is what I fear the most even though I've already had a mild TIA and near heart failure.

3. I Have FSGS

For what it's worth, it's not related to my diabetes. Sounds like you've had far more than enough with the TIA and heart problems (so stop that).

I did get some good news - my HbA1c was 6% (normal for normals!) even though I've been running some very high (for me) BGs with this lastest round of bothersomeness.
