Proud introduced me to her at the March in January. I can't remember what we discussed, but I liked her. Anyway, she's getting a lot of crap thrown at her on DU, which is a pity, since she stayed in DC to continue lobbying Congress to end this fucking war. If I did, I don't remember. She's doing good work, but, to be honest, I think what she did at the Plame hearing was a little inappropriate. I think Valerie deserved more respect and Midge's activities in the background were distracting. It turned into a bit of a media circus on CNN this weekend.

Believe me, in general, I have no problem with Midge or Code Pink.

I really don't like a lot of what's gone on around DU over this.

2. I thought it was funny

Code Pink activists are hard-core. I don't think I'd have the guts to do something like that or to get arrested.

I can't recall if you were with me or not. We were still on the Mall & hadn't started marching. Midge had some kind of question & Lib called me over to help answer it. Anyway, if you want Midge's contact info, shoot me a PM.
