about a young woman who's unmarried and pregnant. She's on a train running away from home or something, and it so happens her seatmate is a young married woman who is also pregnant and traveling to meet her in-laws for the first time (I think her husband is off fighting WWII or something--maybe he gets killed, I don't recall). There's a huge train wreck and the married woman is killed. The unmarried one survives, and manages to pass herself off as the married one by taking the wedding ring. She ends up going to meet the other woman's in-laws and pretending she's their daughter-in-law.

I think it was an old movie, but remade with Ricki Lake.
