I'm never again going to feel guilty about having an occasional day at work where I'm kind of bored and don't really get a whole lot done.

Oh well, KO was really en fuego one night this week. It's just too bad he couldn't have had the night off tonight and had a bad "MSNBC Investigates" subbed for his show if he didn't have much to say other than "Bush unpopular. Alamo Bowl goofy. Keep your knees loose. Good night and good luck."

We're going out of town for a few days -- leaving in the a.m. to go with our friends to the weekend/vacation home they built on the west side of the state.

All of you have a very happy, safe and healthy new year. I may be able to check in a bit over the weekend -- I think they have a computer at the house. I'll see you all in 2006 -- the beginning of what should prove to be a very, very interesting year.
