when I had to run from Hurricane Brett. Only had 2 at the time though, but they were the first ones in the car & I fitted everything else in around them. What couldn't fit in my car, I kissed goodbye. My plan was to sneak them into whatever hotel I ended up at in San Antonio, but it turned out that one of the shelters was opening up space for evacuees & that's where my "kids" spent the night.

If you only have one, it should be no problem. Put her in her carrier, leave room for her food & litter box....cram whatever else you want to bring around her & GO!
