Good news, fans: we need no longer miss Keith when he's gone from Countdown this summer...
He's started a blog on the MLB Web site, "The Baseball Nerd":

Look at it now and you can find out exactly what he's been up to when he abandons us, and how he's participating in fantasy baseball this season, as well as his opinings on your favorite and least favorite teams, if the spirit moves you.
