To those who think Karr didn't kill JonBenet
I am one who thinks he is not the killer. I am just wondering why he is being treated like a serious suspect. They must have something on him..no?

Or maybe they are pretending to take him serious to solve some other crimes he might have committed? He was busted for child porn or something and then took off, would this be just a way to get him back to the states?

I am just curious what you all might think. It seems pretty obvious that this guy didn't do it and that he is a kook, why are they continuing on like he is guilty?

I just thought this could be a discussion.

1. Boulder DA Mary Lacy and her team are
being close-lipped about what they think they specifically have on Karr. Outside experts on the case, including many who were involved in the initial investigation, agree that the DA's initial claim that Karr revealed something about the body that wasn't released to the public is probably nonsense. Now the DA's office is backing away from that.

I think the DA is hinging the case against Karr on the emails that he and Michael Tracey exchanged. If you are interested in detailed info on Tracey, go to www.forumsforjustice.org and read the first sticky in the JonBenet discussion forum. http://www.forumsforjustice.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=6

Much of the information being spouted on TV is false, including the "fact" that the palm print found on the basement door in the Ramsey house is unidentified. In reality, the palm print was identified years ago as belonging to John Ramsey's daughter Melinda. I've almost reached the point of refusing to listen to any TV program that discusses the case because of all the BS that's spouted.

Since you're interested in discussing the Karr case, why don't you join Forums for Justice or Websleuths? The "double b" (Webbsleuths) site is strictly "rah, rah Ramsey!" and costs to join, but FFJ and the original Websleuths aren't, and are free - donation only. Most, if not all, FFJ posters believe a Ramsey killed JonBenet, but Websleuths posters include quite a few intruder theorists too.

2. I've refused to pay any attention to the news after the first
day. I'll wait until he goes to trial (if he does) & pay attention then. But NOT to the cable boys & girls.

I'm thinking that they've got to have something & that they must have at least made an attempt to check up & see if he had an alibi. In many jurisdictions a confession isn't good enough. The cops/DA have to have something to back it up.

3. I agree with you johnnie
Last night I heard someone say the Karr signed some letters to his first wife with S.B.T.C., but if they still have those letters, no one is showing them.

I remember reading that those initials stood for something with John Ramsey - Subec Bay _ _ . This was in Perfect Murder, Perfect Town (I think).

In my opinion, this guy Karr is off in some fantasy land and read/absorbed everything he could about the case.

4. But I wonder if the "law" knows that
I mean, it seems so obvious to many of us so why are they doing this?

6. The original cops botched this investigation from the start
Maybe the current team is being too cautious for fears of letting a potential lead get away .

If Karr's family has pics of him on Christmas Day 1996 that would be the end of it. So why aren't they displaying these pictures?? It seems they would be all over the media trying to prove the Boulder cops are wrong.

Too many loose ends here.

8. If he was with his family on Christmas
Edited on Sat Aug-26-06 11:09 AM by wakemeupwhenitsover
the cops are going to look even more incompetant. First, they screw up the original investigation & now they've charged a guy who has an alibi.

ETA: Cops aren't supposed to just arrest the first nutcase who confesses. They're supposed to investigate & make sure that there's a high degree of probability the nutcase actually did it.

9. You are right about that.
They are supposed to actually build a case to some degree before arresting someone. This guy seems to have an alibi. I do not think he did it. If anything, he needs a mental evaluation, IMHO.

10. Here's an odd thing. I think it was on the news last night.
Karr's BIL? claims he has a letter the ex-wife sent thanking him for having them for Christmas. Who the hell keeps a ten year old letter? Especially about something that trivial.

Also, I heard that the attorney is fighting to keep the DNA excluded. Makes me wonder if there's something there.

11. the DNA
Seth Temin, the public defender representing Karr, wants to be present when Karr's DNA is taken. Temin says that any DNA samples that may have been obtained before Karr was legally represented were obtained illegally.

5. I think Kerr is trying to escape Thai Justice
A friend of mine is an intelligence contractor who has spent years working in Thailand. He told me that in Thailand prison isn't pretty. That not only do offenders get hard time they are subject to court mandated beatings on a regular basis. That said it could easily be surmised that Kerr was facing charges in Thailand and is simply evading the Thai justice he deserves. Unfortunately a lot of paedophiles gravitate to Thailand and the Phillipines for the exploited youth there. If Kerr didn't have anything to do with the Ramsey case I do hope they send him right back to Thailand to face what ever it is he is running from.

7. I think he probably did NOT do it...
From my understanding of this case, there was biological material left at the crime scene.

If it gets tested and run against *his* DNA, he is either in or out.

Not to say that he seems to be a weirdo, but lots of weirdoes confess to things they didn't do, as all of us TC fans know, ;)
