1. Star knowledge

Star knowledge is kept by medicine people and other genuine spiritual leaders. Legitimate indian spiritual leaders do not publish books or set up websites detailing sacred information. If you find it at the newage bookstore, it's almost certainly bogus.

3. yeah....true...
anyone who is a proclaimed medicine man, or whatever is bogus...real medicien men don't want to be known, or gain money ...people know them from word of mouth, and if you go to a medicine man, his first question will be, "where did you learn about me from?" usually...

4. I must agree
If you find information about sacred knowledge on the internet, you have most definately found a plastic shaman.

5. Thanks all.
I check out star knowledge. I know what you mean when you say that anyone proclaiming to be a medicine man isn't one.

I've been doing a Toltec, pre-Columbian, hand position during meditation for a couple of years now. Basically, it's placing the palms of both hands, hand over hand, directly over my heart and sitting, breathing normally for about 20 minutes at a stretch. It brings spacious heart medicine to my meditation. I sometimes fall asleep and wake up with this meditation.

6. Don Miquel?

FYI. All the "Toltec" stuff so popular now is bogus. Really,I am not kidding. It may be a good meditation technique, but most surely there is nothing "Toltec" about it. That guy Don Miguel Ruiz who popularized it just dressed up basic newage stuff and called it Toltec, and made a mint. White people bought it hook line and sinker.

7. Hello, my brother.
You may be right saying my meditation technique isn't genuine Toltec. Hey, it works for me in creating great heart space. I'm not sure who DMR is. I know some of Carlos Castenedas' stuff has been discredited as being authentic Native American. Be that as it may, it brings light to another part of the field when someone realizes original thought. So, thank you for bringing up the opportunity for us to bring our voices together.

10. I work for a Western Shoshone tribe and they do not have astrology
in their culture. However some enjoy the banter of star signs like alot of folks due, the regular Taurus to Aries stuff.
