I'm not heading that way any time soon.
Seriously, I don't know. DU is such an inward focused world that I think people who post here don't really care about the blogging scene. Sure, they might read the handful of blogs that really appeal to them but they're not really interested about the blogging community. Heck, most of the blogging community isn't interested in the blogging communinity. Which is sad, because I know I've made a whole boatload of really good friends this way and had the chance to have conversations with I don't know how many seriously interesting and fun people.
I haven't been blogging much at all the past couple of months because some issues in my personal life have taken precendence. Also I'm in the midst of refactoring Neural Gourmet, which has involved chopping off a lot of the cruft that no one was using and redoing the forums to attempt to get them going full steam.
Carnival of the Liberals continues to grow though and lately we've had some really big names hosting, including Melissa from Shakespeare's Sister and (next Wednesday) Blue Gal. See my sig for the obligatory plug (natch).
Oh, and I guess I should mention that Neural Gourmet was nominated for a Koufax Award, although I can't see us winning against some of the real powerhouses in that category like Media Matters.
