Paisley rejects IRA decommissioning
"Unionist leader Ian Paisley claimed today there had been a
'cover-up' in relation to the announced disarmament of the Provisional IRA and said his party would not be entering into government with Sinn Fein."
This is a subscription service but I'm sure there'll be more forthcoming in the regular press.

3. Some things never change...
and Paisley's brand of unionism is stuck in the 19th century. He can bitch and moan all he wants, at the end of the day, he will still have to deal with Sinn Fein. He has no where to turn. Even HMG is getting tired of him stalling and finding excuses. Christ, even the Tories will be having a Sinn Fein representative speak at their next meeting. On the same stage as a DUP rep by the way.

Politics in The Six needs to move forward and Paisley doesn't have the balls to lead. With or without Ian, devolved government will happen next year. I hope that bigoted bastard lives long enough. I want to see him at Stormont wearing sackcloth and ashes standing side by side with The Big Lad.
