Ab-Lounge Ultra ROCKS!
Definitely not for anyone pregnant, but it is not a bad buy for people with neck or back problems.

Pricey, but worth it with the included extras, including the handlebar at the top...

1. tell me more....linky??
I usually do my ab work, sans props, on a floor mat. I do 700 at a time, in sets of 50 different ab exercises. It's about 15 minutes' worth. :hi:

2. Okey dokey

Costco, Sams Club, and others sell this model, renamed "Ab-Lounge Club Edition" for $150 -- half the price as the XL, but with a really nice handlebar at the top...

Of course, you can do 700 at a time... my situation is different, though thanks to it I might be able to get up to your level in time... :)

They're right about a variable resistance band; eventually one would have to spend more time rockin' back and forth. Even then, that's still cardio and a not-bad workout...

It's actually more fun than the elliptical trainer; another device I've been hopping on. I've noted improved endurance on it, but I still have a way to go.

But I digress; the thing actually gets good reviews...

3. Thanks and good luck with it!
it looks similar to an ab machine they have at my gym.

Yeah, I can do a lot of abs, and do massive amounts of cardio but I STILL have a helluva hard time losing the extra 10-15 lbs of weight I'm carrying around. :(

It's frustrating, but I try not to let it get me down.

Slow and steady. Keeping consistent is key. :hi:

4. Likewise!
Yeah, I should be 180 - but have been back and forth between 200 and 230 the last 5 years...

The first time I was 200, I was almost a size 38 - but more proportioned. These days I'm a size 33, but with a belly. The surgery 3 years ago did not help and I hope the quack who made me need the surgery gets kreepy karma. Diet pills are garbage too... but it can be done.

5. All I can say is: I like a man I can hold on to!
 My hubby fits the bill on that accord.
